Terms of Service

Little Trail Friends is a subscription service that provides nature-based stories and outdoor activity guides designed for families with children. The service is operated by Little Trail Friends.

These Terms apply to both our website and our iOS app. Your use of the iOS app is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"), available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. Where these Terms conflict with the Standard EULA regarding your license to use the iOS app, the Standard EULA governs. Your use of the service is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and purchase a membership. Little Trail Friends is intended for use by parents and guardians with their children. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately at hello@littletrailfriends.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

Little Trail Friends offers paid membership plans on a recurring subscription basis. Current plans, prices, and billing periods are shown at the time of purchase.

Website purchases: Billing is handled by Stripe. You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the rate for your selected plan. You may cancel at any time in your account settings on the website; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

iOS App Store purchases: Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage your subscription, turn off auto-renewal, or cancel in your App Store account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple's policies.

Free trial: New memberships include a 7-day free trial; you will not be charged until the trial ends. If you don't cancel before it ends, your subscription begins and your payment method (or Apple ID, for App Store purchases) is charged.

We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods on website purchases; App Store refunds are handled by Apple. We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice.

All stories, illustrations, activity guides, and other content on Little Trail Friends are owned by or licensed to Little Trail Friends and are protected by copyright law. Your membership grants you a personal, non-transferable license to access and use the content for your family's private, non-commercial enjoyment. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

You agree not to:

• Share your account credentials with anyone outside your household.
• Use the service for any commercial purpose.
• Attempt to access, scrape, or download content in bulk.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.

Little Trail Friends is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Outdoor activities carry inherent risks. We provide activity guides for informational purposes only and are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage that occurs during outdoor activities. Always use your own judgment and supervise children appropriately.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Little Trail Friends shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the site. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
